New Thunderbolts Featurette Unveils Action and Iconic Location Ahead of 2025 Release

IMAX has unveiled a new featurette for the upcoming film “Thunderbolts,” showcasing an array of action-packed footage that highlights the film’s impressive stunt work. This new retrospective of the film sheds light on an important facet. Or maybe “Thunderbolts Mountain,” a location that Marvel Comics devotees will be familiar with.

“Thunderbolts” will be coming to IMAX screens on May 2, 2025. It all adds up to an exciting, unpredictable ride, featuring the biggest, baddest, strangest team of antiheroes audiences have ever seen! Visionary director Jake Schreier tackles the film with a boldness that feels fresh and urgent. A whipsmart writing team that includes Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo plot an efficient screenplay.

The cast is rounded out by returning star Florence Pugh, making her first appearance as Yelena Belova since last summer’s Black Widow. Along with her, Sebastian Stan is back as Bucky Barnes and David Harbour joins the MCU as the Red Guardian. Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Hannah John-Kamen as the character Ghost. Screen Rant Taskmaster, played by Olga Kurylenko, and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Lewis Pullman rounds out the ensemble cast as “Bob,” deepening the story with another satisfying, rich character.
