Haley Joy was born in February 2017, so she just turned 9. Hope Catherine was adopted in April 2019 and is 6 years old today. Both girls have depthless love and sewed endless delightful chaos to Kotb’s life. Given her battle with breast cancer—she was diagnosed in 2007, with treatment leaving her unable to conceive—this happiness is particularly significant to her. Kotb often expresses deep affection for her daughters, famously stating, “You didn’t come from Mommy’s tummy, you came from my heart.”
