The singer, known for her powerful voice and captivating stage presence, concluded her residency at the Resorts World Theatre with an emotional performance that encapsulated her journey throughout the show.

Reflection was made up of a 90-minute concert that has been described as a master class in showmanship. The production was breathtaking, dazzling audiences with its striking sequins and scorching pyro. Mirrors and elaborate set pieces helped reflect the gaudy Vegas vibe. During the show, Underwood performed iconic hits such as “Cowboy Casanova,” “Before He Cheats,” and “Church Bells,” showcasing her versatility and connection with fans.

In the days leading up to her farewell performance, Underwood opened up about her feelings in this week’s PEOPLE exclusively. She concluded with her heartfelt appreciation, “Thank you once again for coming to Reflection. Those words simply captured the tight connection she forged with her audience throughout this yearlong residency.

Underwood, an American Idol alum and a dedicated mother of two, became the host of the inaugural show at the Resorts World Theatre when “Reflection” opened in December 2021. In her farewell, she looked back on her time in Las Vegas and the ways she was blessed by the experience.

And it has been an absolute honor over the years to get to be on this stage. With all our love, we are so grateful. And I’m just going to walk you through some of the stuff we’ve been able to do collectively,” she told the crowd. As she walked off stage for the final time, her voice wavered with emotion.

Underwood’s last performance was the 72nd of her run in “Reflection.” This show has developed into a real tribute to her artistry and dedication. She closed out the evening with an emotional performance of “Something in the Water” that had audience members in tears. Just how powerful that emotional weight felt reverberated strongly with both her and the crowd.

It’s been such an amazing roller coaster ride! Underwood continued. She lifted high her Hamilton pride, thanking God for the chance to flourish in such a wonderful city, confidently reminding everyone that every bit of it is from Him and it’s all really a blessing.
