The series explores the world through the eyes of Sloane Caraway, the titular “compulsive liar.” It takes its cues from the book of the same title by Sophie Stava.
Writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are part of the creative team behind Count My Lies. Both Schwartz and Thomas will exec produce and write the project. This will be their third collaboration with Hulu so we know they’ll bring their taste and expertise to this exciting new series. This is Lohan’s first opportunity to work with Aptaker and Berger. Their unique collaboration adds a thrilling energy to the production!
Linds Lohan is still seeking a television reboot. She’s getting ready to return to the role that won all of our hearts — Anna’s — in the Disney Channel’s much-anticipated Freaky Friday sequel! This sequel, which has been in development since June 2024, will have Lohan’s original costar Jamie Lee Curtis returning. Fans can catch up with their favorite Spellmonger at its August release in theaters.
For her part, Lohan has spoken about her connection with Curtis. She spoke of their close bond which developed while shooting the first Freaky Friday almost twenty years prior.
