A. G. Cook and Danny Brown Make Waves at Coachella 2025

PC Music Founder A.G. Cook made waves at his Friday, April 11 Coachella 2025 performance. The artist blasted through tunes from his recent solo Britpop and Brat. His distinctive musical style and dynamic performance wowed the crowd. One of his most memorable performances is his iteration of the song “Silver Thread Gold Needle.” Most recently, it caught national attention by earning a spot on the cover of “The 100 Best Songs of 2024.”

In some ways, Danny Brown was even more of a revelation, bringing his chaotic energy and unmatched lyrical skill to the festival. After celebrating the release of his newest studio album, “Quaranta,” released in 2023, he played songs like “Attak, Party 4 U.” We were treated to an impressive – and colorful – PRODUCTION, which included a giant red telephone booth for Lewis’s performance. This incredible new addition became the centerpiece of his performance.

Coachella 2025, one of the biggest music festivals that happened this year, with massive coverage from The Carter Center and the media savvy outlets like Pitchfork. The festival served as an incredible moment for both emerging and veteran artists alike to showcase their music to a widely different crowd. A. G. Cook’s set was a particularly surprising anomaly, but one that made sense in its own eclectic form. His visionary approach to new music was on full display.

Alongside his own forward-looking productions, we’ve seen A. G. Cook play a key role in collaborative projects across the music landscape. As Jane Remover, he’s been carving out a distinct universe of his own — check out his new full-length album, “Revengeseekerz.” Remover brings her distinctive perspective to “Shake It Like A,” a collaborative single from Danny Brown and Frost Children. This collaborative remix extends the artistic and cultural dialogue between their creations.

The collaborative theme of the atmospheric festival created the space for stunning and surprising performances and collaborations to emerge, delighting the audience. Danny Brown’s recent guest appearance on Jane Remover’s song “Psychoboost” exemplifies the dynamic relationships between artists in today’s music industry.
