Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper recently embarked on a memorable spring break trip to Disney World, bringing their families together for an exciting vacation. The trip, which included visits to both Disney World and Universal Studios, was marked by laughter and bonding among the children and parents alike.
Cohen, a longtime television host and personality, described his first FAM tour as an “epic” experience. He spoke of the excitement and fun of getting to know Cooper’s family. Both men are best friends since childhood, and that is mirrored in the relationship between their kids on vacation together. Cohen’s two children, Benjamin and Lucy, joined Cooper’s sons, Wyatt and Sebastian, for a week filled with fun activities and adventures.
At only six years of age, Benjamin had been overawed by the dazzling rides. In the meantime, little three-year-old Lucy—in just a few days she’ll be four on April 29—soaked in all the Disney wonder and fun with her friends. Wyatt and Sebastian, 4 and 3 years old respectively, joined on the dozens of family-focused activities planned throughout the trip.
Awaiting these families was the legendary TRON Lightcycle/Run ride at Magic Kingdom, which opened just last spring, and instantly became a must-do. After celebrating their incredible fortune, they took a selfie and posted it on Instagram. This moment of pure joy perfectly captured the adventure-seeking tone of their trip.
Even within the joy of camaraderie, Cohen pointed out an observation about how close their families became that made him pensive. He failed to clarify what the observation entailed. It illustrates just how complicated modern family dynamics can be, even on the happiest of occasions.
“Had an epic Spring Break with AC’s fam at Disney & Universal!” – Andy Cohen
>The journey had provided all the entertainment necessary. Perhaps most importantly, it gave each of the students involved a set of friendships they would have for life. The kids obviously loved being around each other as they discovered the parks together. They savored all aspects spanning character meet-and-greets to hair-raising rides.
Cohen shared a poignant and funny story about a playful moment they shared in that time together. He remarked on how if Lucy and Daisy Duck can resolve their differences, perhaps this spirit of reconciliation could extend to other areas of life.
“They squashed the beef!!!!! And if Lucy & Daisy Duck can figure things out, I think we can spread this vibe to the Bravoverse…” – Andy Cohen
Both families immersed themselves in all the magic Disney World has to provide. They fostered the kind of shared experience that builds bonds that turn into lifelong memories. The kids’ enthusiasm reverberated not only through the parks themselves, but resulted in beaming, appreciative smiles from other visitors who saw their glee.
