Bear and Raiven Brown Announce Split After Six Years Together

Reality stars Bear Brown and Raiven Brown, of the hit television series “Alaskan Bush People,” have shared some big news. After over six years in partnership, they are formally parting ways. The dynamic duo officially wed in January of 2022. Specifically, on April 21, they announced that they had mutually decided to go their separate ways, stating that the break-up was without bitterness and rage.

The Browns have three sons: River, who is five years old, Cove, who is two, and Everest, who is just eight months old. Even though they have concluded their romantic relationship, both parents are dedicated to co-parenting their children. Most importantly, Raiven stressed how collaborative their conversations were before the break-up. She added, “That’s just been our conversation and just working to balance that.”

Bear and Raiven first crossed paths in 2019 and quickly got engaged later that year. However, they separated just two weeks later. Their relationship experienced a renaissance, bringing them back into each other’s lives and ultimately towards marriage in January 2022. During their four years together, they welcomed three children into their family. While their romantic relationship may have ended, this intensely shared experience helped weave a tight bond of community parenting that remains strong.

Bear addressed their concerted partnership in his own statements, writing, “We will always love each other. They value the friendship they’ve developed and want to maintain it for their children’s sake. Even after exiting the partnership as collaborators, their eyes are still on deepening that connection.

In further explaining the split, Raiven opened up about how she was feeling at the time. She stated, “Unfortunately, it’s just not been a possible outcome to work things out,” indicating the challenges they faced in their relationship.

Fans of Alaskan Bush People along with everyone else are shocked by their announcement. They have been intimately acquainted with the couples’ stories from the last 19 years. The show has documented their life in Alaska and the cultural and personal difficulties they encountered as a family.
