David Faustino, best known for playing Bud Bundy on the legendary television show “Married… with Children,” took his last walk like this in Los Angeles. He was walking with his wife, Lindsay Bronson and their two dogs. Friday, April 11, 2014 The couple looked down-to-earth on what appeared to be a relaxed family outing in the busy city.
Faustino, 51, was seen walking beside Bronson on the boardwalk as he held the leash of a medium-sized black dog while Bronson walked a smaller white dog. The couple wore the same black caps, which added to their relaxed look. His signature outfit—a graphic black T-shirt and camo-print shorts—said taking it easy on a sunny day was priority number one. In one photograph, he raised his shirt over his shoulders. He was likely just trying to get some air moving on that hot day in the afternoon.
The dynamic duo has welcomed an addition to their crew, daughter Ava Marie, as well as son and Ava’s brother, further exuding their family values.
When not diving deep into the sea of filmmaking, Faustino wears many hats and continues to be an entertainment renaissance man. He gained fame as Bud Bundy from 1987 to 1997 but had previously appeared in several television shows including “Little House on the Prairie,” “Fantasy Island,” and “St. Elsewhere.” His expertise in voice acting is remarkable. Among more recent television roles, he voiced Helia in Nickelodeon’s “Winx Club,” and Mako in “The Legend of Korra.” Most recently, he voiced Normal Nate in the animated film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” released in 2023.
During a recent interview with PEOPLE at the 30th annual Race to Erase MS gala, Faustino shared some insight into his former costar Christina Applegate’s health struggles. Additionally, she has been officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He justified her lack of presence at the gala by saying,
“She’s not ready to be here tonight.” – David Faustino
Faustino expressed his encouragement for Applegate’s progress as she prioritizes her health and well-being. He remarked,
“I think she just wants to get a little stronger.” – David Faustino
This latest public appearance highlights Faustino’s continued presence both as a family man and a supportive friend within the entertainment industry. And he does an amazing job balancing his family and work. So audiences can look forward to experiencing his genius again soon in a wide variety of roles.
