His most recent annual physical exam was performed on April 11, 2025 during the first year of his second presidential term. His White House physician, Sean Barbabella, just issued the results of that physical. In short, these results indicate that Trump has lost congressional weight since his last go-round as president.
At his most recent physical in 2020, Trump was reported to weigh 244 pounds. According to his most recent assessment, he is now 224 pounds—a literal ton off of his body. The physical specified the need for his prescriptions for high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes.
Trump is prescribed two medications for cholesterol management: Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe. In addition, he takes Aspirin for cardiac prophylaxis and Mometasone cream as needed for skin condition.
The health report reiterated that all of Trump’s vaccines are up to date, including required travel immunizations. Sean Barbabella said, “All of the suggested vaccinations, including travel-related immunizations, are up to date. This indicates a positive change in attitude towards being healthy, particularly as he gears up to tackle some more major global summits and events.
Prior to entering the race, Trump had received cataract surgery on both eyes. The health documentation received does not indicate the precise dates of any of these surgeries. During a colonoscopy in July 2024, Bennett was diagnosed with a benign polyp and diverticulosis. These are sobering health indicators for a man his age.
If he wins, Trump would be 78 years and 7 months at his inauguration on January 20, 2025. This milestone makes him the oldest person to ever take the oath of office and become president in U.S. history. If he manages to serve out this full term, he will only add to this record.
We’re pleased to announce that his physical exam results have become available. Along with them, Texas Representative Ronny Jackson — a former White House physician and Trump loyalist — has released a memo in lieu of a medical report detailing the president’s recovery.
His nephew, Fred C. Trump III, spoke with PEOPLE about their family’s history of dementia and noted how some of his uncle’s recent behaviors reminded him of relatives who faced similar cognitive challenges. He remarked on Trump’s tendency to repeat himself:
“He kept repeating something to me time and time again when I had met him.” – Fred C. Trump III
Fred C. Trump III further commented on his uncle’s demeanor during conversations:
“He kept repeating things, and he just looked different. He looked tired.” – Fred C. Trump III
Aside from these civil suits, there have been some worries raised about Trump’s memory. Ramin Setoodeh, editor-in-chief at Variety, noted difficulty in recalling even simple details during multiple lengthy interviews for his book “Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass.”
“As the journalist who spent the most time with him, I have to say, he couldn’t remember things. He couldn’t even remember me.” – Ramin Setoodeh
Ever since Donald Trump took office, family members and associates have been sounding the alarm about Trump’s cognitive health. This just as he begins his second term in office. His recent physical exam indicates that his health status is pretty stable in terms of weight and medication control. Even so, his remarks to people near him indicate a red flag may be in his future.
