Japanese Breakfast Unveils New Music Video and Expands Tour Schedule

Japanese Breakfast continues her to domination with the release of a gorgeous new music video “Winter in LA.” Visit this creative vision realized by the artist in collaboration with Peter Ash Lee, the breathtakingly beautiful piano. Sense made an amazing video showcasing cutting-edge fashion, filmed entirely in South Korea. In it, Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner twirls elegantly through a desolate pub, wearing an arresting wedding dress.

“Winter in LA” is dropping with some fresh new tour dates too! The incredible Japanese Breakfast is continuing her never-ending tour in support of last year’s breakout LP Jubilee, returning this time to promote her new album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Femmes). These new dates include performances in cities that previously sold out, as well as stops at venues that were initially overlooked.

Her fans are already excitedly promoting her major upcoming performances at Coachella and Glastonbury. At Coachella, Japanese Breakfast will surely continue to wow audiences with their cover of Gorillaz 2010 hit “On Melancholy Hill.” Next, she’s set to appear at Summerfest on July 21 in Milwaukee, WI. Ginger Root will be accompanying her on stage for the packed event!

Along with Milwaukee, Japanese Breakfast will be playing Rockefeller on June 24 in Oslo, Norway. The very next day, she’ll be performing on the same stage, Filadelfia in Stockholm, Sweden, with Minhwi Lee. On June 26, she will continue her Scandinavian tour with a performance at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark, again with Minhwi Lee.

She’ll be on stage at the Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England, June 28, and back in the U.K. for performance at Academy 1 in Manchester with Minhwi Lee on June 29. The month-long tour will wrap up with a performance at Barrowland in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 30.

Next up in July, Japanese Breakfast begin a two night stand at The Masonic in San Francisco, CA on July 27-28. Then a big hometown concert takes place at the historic Greek Theatre on July 22, Los Angeles, CA. This Cultural Caravan stop will be a very special stop on her tour!
