Mac DeMarco Announces North American and European Tour Alongside New Album Release

That’s right — Mac DeMarco, everyone’s favorite slacker indie rocker, just announced a huge, long tour! To celebrate the release of his new album, he’ll be touring all over the US, Europe, UK and Canada. The tour is scheduled to begin on August 29, 2023 with a show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This is both a thrilling prospect for fans to hear DeMarco’s new material live and an equally exciting opportunity.

The new album will be released just in time for the tour to start. This timing makes it thrilling for the release of the record as well as the upcoming performances! DeMarco confirmed this in a recent statement, saying, “I have an album coming in August, see you at the shows.”

In 2023, DeMarco added to his discography with the release of “Five Easy Hot Dogs” and the extensive compilation “One Wayne G.” His upcoming studio album will be showcasing his signature sound. It includes the thrilling artistic completions in conjunction with artists including Eyedress, Alan Palomo, and Ryan Paris.

The month-long tour is composed of atmospheric performances in prominent cities across North America and Europe. Following that opening performance in Los Angeles, DeMarco will soon be on his way to the United Kingdom. As you can see, he has some pretty awesome performances coming up at various spaces! Then see more performances at the Corn Exchange, Cambridge on 12 November and Prospect Building, Bristol on 13 November. He is due to perform at the Aviva Studios in Manchester on November 14.

DeMarco to play two exciting shows in intrepid Dublin, Ireland @ National Stadium Save the date for November 17 & 18! The tour will conclude with raging dates across Canada. Included in that tour, don’t miss the performance at the Light House in Halifax, NS on December 3, and another at the Royal Theatre in Victoria, BC on December 19!
