Pedro Pascal Champions Trans Rights in Conner Ives’ “PROTECT THE DOLLS” T-Shirt

Pedro Pascal made headlines at the U.K. premiere of Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’ in London on April 22, 2025, by wearing a white t-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “PROTECT THE DOLLS.” American designer Conner Ives made this striking statement for the same campaign. His overall objective is to foster greater awareness and funding for transgender rights. We’re donating the proceeds of the t-shirts to Trans Lifeline. This essential organization connects people with peer support, assists in crisis intervention, and much more specifically for trans individuals.

Conner Ives, 28 years old, created the “PROTECT THE DOLLS” t-shirt as a response to the pressing political issues affecting the transgender community. He hopes to use his considerable platform to shine a spotlight on these rights. This is especially urgent in the context of new legislative attacks on democracy in the United States.

“In the modern day, what is more ubiquitous than the graphic T-shirt?” – Conner Ives

The campaign strikes a particularly personal chord with Pascal, whose sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a transgender woman in February 2021. Lux graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City in 2023, showcasing her talent and determination while representing the transgender community.

Ives was personally moved to take action after seeing the past several years’ worth of government policies rolling back transgender rights. His initiative is part of a movement taking hold within the fashion industry, pushing big names to get behind all marginalized voices and causes.

“It was very reactive. I knew I wanted to say something, given what we’ve observed in the last few months with the U.S. government and the current political regime.” – Conner Ives

This “PROTECT THE DOLLS” t-shirt makes a bold political statement and adds edge to any outfit while supporting action on the frontlines. It hopes to build conversation, deepen understanding and foster solidarity among our Jewish community. Ives hopes that when people wear the shirt, they’ll be a part of the message to continue fighting for transgender rights and visibility.

Pascal wasn’t the only one rooting for the film. Troye Sivan wore our Provery T when he was catching Charli XCX’s set at Coachella! This is yet another demonstration of the budding trend of mega celebrities like Beyonce using their clout to push for powerful social movements.
