Pulp, the iconic British band, has officially announced a North American tour in support of their upcoming album More, marking their first studio release in 24 years. We’re so excited for our tour to begin in September 2024! It will include awe-inspiring performances in key cities across the United States and Canada, such as New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
The tour will start September 4 in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Tabernacle. It’ll have several impressive stops in between. Following their show in Atlanta, Pulp will take the stage at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. on September 6. Afterward, they’ll travel to Philadelphia for a performance at Met Philadelphia on September 9. From there, the band will make their way to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on September 11. From there, they’ll make their way to Boston, Massachusetts where they’ll take The Stage at Suffolk Downs on September 13. They just announced that they’ll be wrapping up the East Coast leg of their tour in Toronto, Ontario, at Budweiser Stage on September 16.
Pulp’s tour will culminate in a triumphant double header of two co-headline, LCD Soundsystem supported shows. Come celebrate with them at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 25 and 26! This partnership looks set to create an incredible night out for fans of either band – and both!
Jarvis Cocker, the band’s frontman, said that he was very much looking forward to a forthcoming tour and album release. In a recent press release, he stated, “If you thought last Fall was good, wait for this one!” He further emphasized the significance of their new music by saying, “You deserve more—and we’ve got More. More than you could imagine…”
Along with the tour announcement, Pulp released a new comeback single this month in anticipation of the album. The single has created a lot of excitement, anticipation, and expectations from fans and critics in just a week leading up to the full album drop.
As Pulp prepares to take the stage once again after a lengthy hiatus, fans eagerly await what the band has in store for them. Their North American tour this fall will be the first chance for audiences to experience those fresh sounds. Inducting Bad Brains will further celebrate black artistry, contribution, and legend in music history.
