Swift began her fitness regimen six months before the first Eras Tour show in March 2023. Her routine included running on a treadmill while singing the full setlist of her tour. This method, which involves running fast for fast songs and jogging or fast walking for slow songs, was described as a "genius idea" by Snook.

"I heard that and thought, 'That's a genius idea,'" said Sarah Snook.

In addition to her treadmill routine, Swift revealed that she adjusted her sleep schedule significantly. She would go to bed at five and sleep until three to ensure she was well-rested for her performances. On her days off, Swift followed a strict regimen of staying in bed except for getting food, which she would eat back in bed.

"I do not leave my bed except to get food and take it back to my bed and eat it there," stated Taylor Swift.

Snook, who signed on to star in "Dorian Gray" when her daughter was just six months old, found Swift's regimen particularly appealing as it aligned with her needs as a new mother.
