Timothée Chalamet returns to his festival roots Saturday, April 12, 2025 Rolling on a wave of momentum from a vibrant return to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This go-around, though, he wasn’t playing the elusive Bob Dylan, a role he’s taken on in recent film appearances. Instead, the actor was seen soaking in the colorful culture of the festival as he partied with reality TV star Kylie Jenner.
The radiant young couple, who were photographed hand in hand as they explored the festival grounds, exhibited Brat-inspired VIP passes clipped to their shirts. Chalamet, 29, showed off a casual ensemble this afternoon. He was in a 2000s rave-inspired tshirt, baggy black shorts, a trucker hat, sunglasses, brown boots and a huge pack. Their chemistry was electric, and we felt it as they danced through the audience.
That awning ended up being the perfect place for Charli XCX’s hotly-tipped-to-be-awesome set to kickoff safely. The two were snapped snuggling and exchanging kisses amidst the festive scene. Looks like Chalamet and Jenner had a wonderful time at the gala! They earned an excellent position behind the barricade, which brought them directly into the eye of the creative storm on set.
As it turned out, this year’s Coachella would end up feeling like a reunion of sorts for the couple. Over the last few months, she and Waheeb have teamed up for many joint events. One such highlight was their romantic tennis date at the BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open. While Chalamet and Jenner’s romantic ties apparently took off in 2023, they have otherwise kept news of their off-the-radar romance very private. Public appearances have been restricted mostly to award shows, where Chalamet has regularly debuted Jenner as his date.
Coachella’s colorful and eclectic atmosphere provides a stunning backdrop for the couple’s most intimate moments. They bask in its youthful exuberance and vibrancy and enjoy it to the fullest. The festival welcomes people of all ages to come play and get funky. It provides an opportunity to have fun in one another’s company outside of the limelight.
