Ubisoft just announced “A Pirate’s Fortune.” This much-lauded expansion is the second major story expansion to the very popular game, Star Wars Outlaws. So, beautification aside, make sure you save the date on May 15th, 2025! Prepare for a fast-paced Khepi system treasure-hunting voyage! Follow Kay Vess, our courageous heroine, and her sidekick Nix as they embark on a journey. As a team, they will tackle unprecedented challenges and experience exhilarating benefits.
The expansion puts an emphasis on smuggling dangerous goods throughout the galaxy, teaming up with the Miyuki Trade League. As players invest time and effort into their endeavors, they’ll be introduced to a wealth of new rewards while they fumble through the art of intergalactic trade.
Publisher Ubisoft listed the next story driven DLC, “A Pirate’s Fortune,” as part of the Season Pass, which you can get as part of the $109.99 Gold Edition and $129.99 Ultimate Edition. Players can buy the Season Pass individually for $39.99. For those that want to jump into the expansion solo though, it’s available for separate purchase at $14.99.
In addition to the expansion, players who own the Ultimate or Deluxe Editions of Star Wars Outlaws will receive exclusive cosmetic packs: Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad. These offerings increase player creation flexibility, making the battles feel uniquely customized through some players’ imaginations.
To accompany the launch, Ubisoft will be releasing a free content update in addition to “A Pirate’s Fortune.” This update will provide all players with cosmetic items inspired by the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series, specifically designed for Nix and a new speeder.
To get started on “A Pirate’s Fortune,” players will first need to have finished the game’s main story campaign in Star Wars Outlaws. The expansion packs an amazing story with it! Players team up with the roguish pirate Hondo Ohnaka to defeat overwhelming forces including Stinger Tash and the Rokana Raiders. A key part of this journey is gaining access to the Khepi Tomb to seek out its many concealed secrets and singular treasures.
Ubisoft is understandably eager to get new players on board, which is why they’re launching a free three-hour demo with “A Pirate’s Fortune.” Experience this demo on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This demo gives players a chance to peek into the exciting opening strokes of the expansion without spending a dime.
